Who we are

Aldervault Hires is a prestige vehicle-hire service operating in Manchester and the North West (a trading name of DrillzStays Ltd). References to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the operator of this service. Our data-protection contact is hire@rangerover-hire.com.

What we collect

• Name, address, date of birth (from your licence)
• Phone number, email, WhatsApp messages
• Photo of your driving licence and a verification selfie
• Vehicle location data during your hire (GPS tracker)
• Dashcam footage captured during your hire
• Payment details (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card numbers)

Why we collect it

To verify identity for vehicle hire, to comply with our insurance policy and applicable transport regulations, to operate the hire safely, to respond to your enquiry, and to retain records required by HMRC.

How long we keep it

Photos of your licence and verification selfie are deleted automatically 90 days after your hire ends. WhatsApp conversations and lead records are retained for up to two years for repeat-booking continuity and then archived. Booking, accounting, and insurance records are retained for seven years to meet HMRC requirements.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct anything that is inaccurate, to ask for deletion (subject to legal retention), to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. To exercise any right, email hire@rangerover-hire.com and we will respond inside one calendar month.

Who we share data with

Our insurance broker and underwriter in the event of a claim, our accountant for HMRC purposes, and the GPS tracker provider in the event of theft or recovery. We do not sell or share data for marketing purposes with any third party.
